Scholarships for Private School Students

K-12 students, regardless of income, who live in Florida and are able to attend public K-12 school are eligible for a scholarship of around $7,800. They can enroll in a private institution that is best suited to their academic requirements.

The scholarship is available to pay for tuition and other expenses related to it like books, registration, tests, and other charges.

Scholarships for the PEP Program

Florida students who aren’t full-time, full-time private, or public school students are now able to have an opportunity to participate in the Personalized Education Program (PEP) through the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program.

Who is eligible?

On July 1st, 2023, scholarships are available at no cost to students of any income, who reside in the state of Florida and are eligible to enroll in a public K-12 school.

The priority will go to households whose income is 400% of the poverty level or less, as per the guidelines for income priority, or who have the following requirements:

  • Students who renew their Florida Tax Credit Scholarship and/or Family Empowerment Scholarship
  • Children who are in foster care or in out-of-home care
  • Children without a home

How Does It Perform?

Apply for the scholarship via Step Up For Students. If you are approved, select a private or public school, transport, or a customized education.

Private School Scholarship

Scholarships differ according to grade and county, however, they are in the range of $7,800 to $8,800. When you’ve been awarded a scholarship collaborate with the selected private school to register your student using Step Up For Students.
